Wedbush analyst Dan Ives raised his price target on Tesla after the electric vehicle company posted better-than-expected deliveries in the second quarter. The tech analyst hiked his 12-month price target on the Elon Musk -led company by 9%, to $300 from $275 previously.
Ives said Tesla's better-than-expected second-quarter deliveries marked a 'major turning point' for the company's demand story. He added that most price cuts were behind the company, EV demand was stabilizing globally and especially in China, and that Tesla should reach a 2 million-unit annual trajectory over the coming quarters with easier comparisons in 2025.
