Ed Yardeni's price predictions

Ed Yardeni is president and chief investment strategist of Yardeni Research, an independent investment research firm he founded in 2007. Before that he was chief investment strategist at Prudential Equity Group, Deutsche Bank and C.J. Lawrence, and earlier chief economist at EF Hutton and Prudential Securities. He holds a PhD in economics from Yale University and wrote the book Predicting the Markets (2018).

Gives targets for the S&P 500 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average and for the price of gold, in his firm's research and in television interviews that news outlets report. The deadlines are mostly the end of the current or the next calendar year, with longer targets for the end of the decade; most of the targets are for prices to rise, and he revises them during the year.
