PlanB argued that the April 2024 halving would again drive bitcoin's price increases, as in earlier cycles. He described a pattern of a 2x move in the six months before a halving, a 2x move in the six months after, and a 4x move between six and 18 months after, and said he expected a further 2x in the months after this halving followed by a cycle top.
